NEW!! This is where we share fun and helpful Chicago kids party entertainment ideas and stories. More stories coming soon!
Since 2006, Artistic Face Painting has provided top quality kids party entertainment with its original face paint designs for literally hundreds of Chicago area party hosts, from new mothers to grandmothers, from retail store owners to corporate marketing executives. We’ve provided face painters for kids events ranging in size from 2 to over 2,000 people, including a huge festival held in Soldier Field in downtown Chicago.
The goal of our blog is to share some of our favorite kids party and event entertainment stories in hopes that you will be inspired by a party theme or idea that we thought worked especially well. Of course, if your party plans include kids face painting and/or kids craft projects or balloon artists sculpting, we hope you will allow us to provide a quote.
Feel free to submit a reply to our posts. And please tell your friends about us.

Debbie
Face Painting Artist and Founder of Artistic Face Painting
Since 2006, my artists and I have worked at all kinds of parties and company events. I have seen what works and what doesn’t for a wide variety of party guests. I’ll share some of those observations here, but please feel free to contact me with questions or ideas on how we can work together to make your event a huge success.
I take extra steps to ensure that all my artists across the Chicago metro area are trained to provide beautiful face painting. I also take extra steps to only hire artists who are courteous, professional, friendly and great with kids.

Face Painting Artist and Elementary School Art Teacher
Debbie is my mom. From the beginning, we wanted Artistic Face Painting to be different from other facepainting services. We wanted our designs to be unique and beautiful, not boring and smudgy. Over time we have developed a book of designs that meet our quality standards. Your guests can pick their favorite design from this book (or make special requests). Most of our designs take more time than the simplistic rapid-fire art that our competitors offer. But the smile on kids and parent faces is worth it. It really makes your event extra special, extra memorable. And makes you look like a genius. 🙂 That’s our goal.

Face Painting Artist, Graphics Designer and Amateur Photographer
Debbie is my aunt. I have worked for Artistic Face Painting from the time it was founded. I really enjoy the extra boost of fun and excitement that fills the room when I start painting faces. The kids can’t wait to get their faces painted. And when finished, it is so much fun to watch them proudly display their face art. The parents love watching their kids get so excited and proud. And it never fails that I have teens or adults ask to have their faces or cheeks painted, too.
