Katy Perry, one of Adelle’s favorite pop music idols, was holding a contest on Facebook for the best fan face paint and Adelle and all her friends wanted to enter.  There was alot of excitement in the air as the girls talked about what it would be like to win the contest and meet Katy Perry.

The girls had lots of design ideas.  I certainly did not want to dampen their excitement by pushing my own design ideas on them.  So I listened carefully and got started, offering a few tweaks to their facepainting ideas.  Let’s just say we came up with some INCREDIBLE designs!  Here are some of my favorites: 

Face painting eyes on the girls’ eyelids really added a cool effect and sometimes creepy effect.  Towards the end of the night, Adelle’s mother  presented the birthday girl with a over-sized tickets to see Katy Perry live in concert!

All-in-all, it was a great party!
